Aspat Bay
The Aspat Bay Link with the Venetian castle on the summit of a hill are really worth some of your time. Many traditional songs have been dedicated to the well-known castle that is visible from some distance on the Bodrum Peninsula. The famous traveler, Evliya Celebi, mentioned the place in one of his travel books, talking of its fresh water. Evliya Celebi also talks of the castle. Visitors can access it up a narrow footpath up the hill. The castle was burnt down many centuries ago but it still has a certain majesty. Another interesting aspect of Aspat is the many stone houses on the beach.
