Volos is one of Greece’s largest cities. It has a rich history and its accumulated wealth means there are a number of halls, churches, and mansions to see. Mount Pelion is to the north of Volos and the Pagasetic Gulf to the south as the city holds a commanding position over the surrounding area. Restaurants line the waterfront as well as a good choice of bars. It is well worth some of your time.
