Veli Rat
“Long Island” in Croatian, the widest point of Dugi Otok at the town of Sali is only 3 kilometres across at its maximum and half that at narrowest point across from the island of Ugljan. The west side is largely steep and rocky. The main settlements and the best anchorages are on its North East Coast. The marina at Veli Rat has everything that visiting yachts might need.
