Kotor is a small village surrounded by fortified walls overlooking a beautiful bay. The town is a medieval maze of museums, churches, cafe-strewn squares and Venetian palaces and pillories. Today the island of Sveti Stefan belongs to Aman chain hotel and is close to the public. It is possible to visit only by request or by being their guest in the hotel. In addition is possible, booking in advance, to eat in one of three restaurants. We suggested also walking through Milocer Park, close to the island.
Today, before to leave Bar, you could go for a guided tour of Stari Bar, an old fortified town in the hinterland of today’s city of Bar. In the centuries had been its center, until the city moved down, into the field towards the sea. Today the Old fortress is abandoned and is in ruins. Near there is a market of many souvenir shops. Whilst this canyon is less well known, Medjurecje is still able to offer stunning beauty and extremely exciting experience.
