Cres Island
Cres is a northern island in the Kvarner Gulf, the largest island in the Adriatic. Although only a little over 2 kilometres wide, it is 66 kilometres long. Lake Vrana is a freshwater lake on the Island which is among the deepest in the whole of Eastern Europe. Those interested in flora and flora will delight in its many endemic species.
