Opatija
Opatija is established itself as a year-round resort. It is a town on the Gulf of Kvarner, and the wellness and spa centres in the region attract significant numbers even in the middle of winter. The coastline is very picturesque, largely rocky but there are some excellent beaches. Other attractions are the cultural monuments, villas, green parks and lovely local cuisine.
