Paklinski Islands
The Paklinski Islands comprise an archipelago of 21 islands in the waters of Hvar. Hvar is a fairly exclusive town located on the south west coast of Hvar island. The purple lavender fields are renowned and provide a real splash of colour. The historical landmarks to see include the Arsenal, the Theatre and a Franciscan monastery. Former rulers of the Island include Venice, Austria and Napoleon’s France.
